In State of Rajasthan v . Union of India -LRB- AIR 1977 SC 1361 -RRB- , the Supreme Court held that a proclamation under 356 depends on the subjective satisfaction of the President and the Court could not substitute its own satisfaction for that of the President nor could it , in view of article 74 -LRB- 2 -RRB- , enquire into the advice given to the President by the Council of Ministers .
राजस्थान राज्य बनाम भारत संघ ( ए आई आर 1977 एस सी 1361 ) में उच्चतम न्यायालय का निर्णय था कि अनुच्छेद 356 के अधीन उदघोषणा का आधार है राष्ट्रपति का आत्मपरक समाधान और न्यायालय न तो राष्ट्रपति के समाधान के स्थान पर अपना समाधान रख सकता है और न ही वह अनुच्छेद 74 ( 2 ) को दृष्टि में रखते हुए मंत्रिपरिषद द्वारा राष्ट्रपति को दी गई सलाह के बारे में जांच-पड़ताल कर सकता है .
